CHILDREN ON SOME DAYS
A man swings a baseball bat, a woman paints a painting; one person holds a camera, another reads a letter. Each one steps into another dimension where the familiar shapes of reality are increasingly distinctive. This film delivers an optical space that cannot be adequately described in words.

PROFILE
Tomohiro Hirota
I have tried to release my film from any fixed genres in my process of shooting. This film has no genre.
This is why I get a different impression every time I watch this film.
I think I want to be in the audience. But it is quite difficult to be "the audience of my own work", objectively. I dream that my film would ignore me someday, sometime.
Anyway, I hope that each of you observe something different on screen and interpret your own narrative after seeing my film.
