Invitation Film from Cannes
Section
Screening the award recipients from the Short Film Category and Student Category at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
We’ve had a partnership with the Cannes Film Festival since 2016. Every year, we screen the award recipients from the Short Films Category and Cinéfondation (Student Films Category). Though this year’s Cannes Film Festival was not held physically due to COVID-19, we have chosen some films to screen from the 2019 award recipients.

The Distance Between Us and the Sky

Two strangers meet at an old gas station. One has stopped to gas up his bike, while the other is just stranded. Lacking money to get home, he will try to sell him the distance that separates them from the sky.
