(B2) [It's not that pig's problem]

One hot afternoon, at a laundromat in Taipei, a woman is crying and waiting for someone. Suddenly, a man comes by with his laundry, drinking tea. His laundry includes a stuffed pig. Surprisingly, she also has one. This is nothing more than a meeting by chance for him, but, for her, it may change her life.

Director
When I was enrolled in the Editing Course of the Department of Film Production at Tokyo University of the Arts, I returned to Taiwan to prepare for the Directing Course exam and make a film. During the home quarantine period for COVID-19, I read Director Nobuhiro Suwa's book, "For the possibilities of the film, which may be needed by no one," and I was interested in improvisation, because this method would allow me to direct a film though I wasn't good at writing screenplays. Hence, I made this film.

Recommendations from the NIFF Supporters

A laundromat in Taipei. A crying woman and a man talking to each other. The world of improvisation is captured by a one-camera fixed-point camera. It may be the most innovative of this year’s NARA-wave productions. It is your sensibility that discovers the story in the film.
