The life of a former artist now aged shoeshine Marcel Marx was simple and peaceful living in port city of Le Harve in Northern France, until he encounter Idrissa, an African young boy who was arrived in his port town illigally and managed to escape from being caught by the border gard.
Marcel decides to help Idrissa by hiding him in his house...
