OUT IN JAPAN is a project focused on shining a spotlight on sexual minorities in Japan with the goal of showcasing 10,000 portraits by 2020 and fostering an inclusive and accepting society for LGBTs.Along with other renowned photographers, Leslie Kee was especially devoted, capturing the first 1,000 portraits for the project. This is the first time the exhibition has come to Nara.

- Leslie Kee
- Born in Singapore in 1971. Kee is a photographer who has shot many top celebrities and models. In his magazine series SUPER, he collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Lady Gaga and Lacoste.
