"A White Ship" is based on the true story of students from a small elementary school and the captain of a white ferryboat.
Shizuka, a woman teacher, has just moved to this school near her hometown. However, she is depressed to come to school, as she has totally lost confidence as teacher while she was working at another school in Matsue, the capital city of Shimane. Among cheerful students, Kohei, a calm boy, often looks out through the window absentmindedly. He finds a white thing slowly moving on the sea, which turns out to be a ferry called “RAINBOW LOVE”. Since that day, Shizuka and students become curious and interested in knowing about the ship.
