Nara is the place of the deep traditions and solemn prayers. It also preserves the unique and rare scenery that is in harmony with the beauty of nature. Our goal is a film festival where people gather from all over the world to communicate, eat, and experience life itself in a traditional town- where people can enjoy films in the rich atmosphere of Nara.

We hope to welcome people from all over the world with hospitality with simple and graceful feeling of Nara by connecting with as many people as possible from the local area and around. Also, we hope to establish the film festival as the beginning of rebirth of Nara so that it will appeal to the world and that the people of Nara can be proud of their hometown.
