Diary of Toyoko Yamasaki vol.1 : Welcome!

This is a diary about the making of "NARAtive 2010", a film project that centers around Nara, its people, culture, and history.
  To start, we'd like to introduce Toyoko Yamasaki, who was elected to be the Japanese representative for NARAtive 2010.

Nice to meet you all! My name is Toyoko Yamasaki. I am the director of a film called Bion. Now we are editing the footage for NARAtive, and looking at all of it reminds me of so many things - recollections of crying, laughing, anger, and happiness. But most of all, the support and encouragement I got from so many people along the way.

Profile
Toyoko Yamasaki, born in 1975, is based in the Kansai region. She graduated from the Visual Arts College in Osaka, and after getting her start in the television industry, she founded her own production company, Okoku.The program of Nagaoka Asia Film Festival the 13th , Nagaoka Indies Movie Competition the 10th/ ‘Bread and Christ’‘Nightingale’, played at Korea Indie Forum Film Festival 2008. Her latest film, "Sakura", combines elements of fiction and documentary. This film played as a special appearance at the 17th Tama Cinema Forum.
